Optimux-ST-3D

Under certain process conditions, the Optimux ST-3D dilator can be used in series with any type of valve to reduce the sound level to 25dBA, often without the need for more expensive in-valve noise reduction.

The ST-3D diffuser shares a high pressure drop with the control valve and controls the sound level by passing air through a series of small openings under certain conditions, eliminating excessive turbulence and energy and creating back pressure.

The correct hole size and spacing is critical, which is why Optimux customizes each ST-3D diffuser to suit the flow required for any particular application.

The length and number of holes are customized for specific applications
